Eight Great Reasons To Tell The Truth
-Barbara A. Lewis

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's a less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more than when you tell the truth.
6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value.
8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.

It is always right to tell the truth no matter what situation you’re in. Why lie to someone if you know that you wouldn’t like to get lied to. If you lie, there are many consequences that can lead to lying. You will either get caught, lose trust from a person, lose respect, and maybe will be disliked. You shouldn’t lie because it can make you a better person and your image will represented better. These are right examples on why you should tell the truth and it’s correct because it tells examples on how errors can be fixed and making up lies can be worst. If you want to gain trust by someone you should always be honest with them.  Another reason why you shouldn’t lie is because the person you lied to will probably get hurt. It’s hard to forgive someone whom they trusted. And gaining trust and respect back isn’t easy. I agree with Barbara A. Lewis because her tips can be very beneficial in life. I can tell that Barbara A. Lewis is a CTR person in life.

"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."
-Dennis Prager

What Dennis Prager is saying is that the most thing you will ever have is good things. That’s what should be important to you is to have good values. For example you should do things so your image can be shown as someone who has great values. If you don’t have good values then your image as a person will be different. It should be important to have great values. We should also always be thankful to have good values because some people don’t like using these values like great, helpful, and many more. I like to use values because you are making yourself have a good reputation for/to others. It’s also important to have good values because good values are what motivate people and it makes them who they are today to do good values and that’s what leads them to success.

phillip riggs four success tips
  1. work hard.
  2. follow your passion do things you are interested in doing.
  3. dont chase after money.
  4. serve others. do good things for others, and good things will come to you.
I agree with Phillip Riggs because not everything's about money even though we love it. If you work hard for what you love then it's a good thing because at the end you are going to end up being happy for what you do. You should do something that interests you because you will still have the money but if you don't enjoy doing that certain job then you will probably get annoyed or bored. You should find a job that you are passionate about. In my opinion I rather find a job that I love than a job that I don't like. If you're passionate and good at something, why not pursue that path and see where it takes you. You should always try and doing nice things for others and helping them out in some type of way because good things can come to you someday when you least expect it. With these 4 tips you will definitely for sure succeed in life. They can help you lead yourself to the correct path.

“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”
-Wilford Woodruff

I strongly do agree with Wilford because he is absolutely correct. When you do something wrong it won't make you feel better or make you a better person according to Wilford. You won't gain anything. Nothing is obtained when you decide to do what's wrong. Doing something correct might gain you something. Doing the wrong thing never takes you anywhere. If you’re not doing something right then you’re not gaining anything. Just like when your doing push-ups, if you barely go down when you do push-ups then you’ll see very little results happening. If you do go all the way down then you’ll start seeing improvement dramatically. Just like when you cheat on a test you never get any smart because you never studied you just decided to cheat. Every time you decide to do something the wrong way you never gain anything. You actually start to hate the fact that you cheat and don’t do it the right way. The best way to do anything is the right way, the way it’s suppose to be done. Without shortcuts or any kind of cheating involved.

“It’s A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.”
-Pam Knox

This quote is saying that stepping up and doing something positive is the correct thing to do at the right time. For example, if you are witnessing someone getting bullied, you should step up at the right time to defend the victim because you are doing the right thing for stepping up for someone who is getting hurt. You should always step in for what you believe in at the right moment and time. By making the right choice, you are not only making yourself proud but you are also making others proud. By doing what’s right you will be recognized by others. You will feel good when you do good. You also have to have courage in order to do stuff. Especially when you’re trying to step for something. Having the courage to speak for others or for yourself is a big deal. That is being an assertive person. Stand up for yourself and have pride. Don’t be a follower. You do you.

“I have been asked what I mean by word of honor.I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk like around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I’d die first.
-Karl G. Maesar

What this quote is saying is that it sets an example on how he would never break a promise and rather die than break it. No matter how bad he was tortured or trapped he still wouldn’t break a promise. This is educating us to always keep our word of honor to the promises we make because a promise is something strong you make and it shall not be broken ever
