This quote is saying that you should always stand up for what is right and what ever you believe in and not listen or follow others who are doing the wrong thing.for example if your friends invite you or want you to do something that is reckless and savage and wrong.you should say no because you should stick to doing right positive good things.You shouldn't do something that you are uncomfortable of doing. That's why you have to stand up for yourself. You should never do anything that's wrong to impress others.You'll probably be the only one doing the right thing, but you'll be rewarded unknowingly like good karma. If you are being pressured by your friends to do something and you know it's wrong, make a stand to the correct situation.
